The visit of ‘’Tikitas Circus Band” in Mini Art Centre
The Greek circus band spend a week in our center for circus, trainings and culture.
They were a part of our team and prepared two workshops – for unicycling and juggling, they presented a musical circus performance as well as a large demonstration and performance in the Fakulteta neighbourhood using the social circus method.
Tikitas Circus Band is a traveling circus group of 10 people traveling from the Island Crete, Greece. They play Balkan songs live, presents circus disciplines such as unicycle, rope walking, acrobatics and juggling skills, as well as the art of magic and theatre.

In this one week we became one big circus family working together with one thing in common – circus. Throughout the week you could hear French, Italian, English, Greek and Bulgarian at the Mini Art Center.
Their stay and show was our premiere for residents at Mini Art Center.
We all were happy and we spent the nights laughing, enjoying ourselves, creating, playing music and dancing.

We want exactly these kind of gatherings and performances to be part in our program for the Mini Art Center. Learning circus disciplines, holding cultural and social events are the core ideas and goals of the center.
