Mini Art Center – circus, training and culture

FIRST, LET’S TELL YOU ABOUT THE CENTER!
It is located in an administrative building in a communicative place in Orlandovtsi district, Sofia. It is close to public transport lines, there are also free parking spaces.

The exact address is 135 First Bulgarian Army Street, 4th floor

The center is conveniently located on an area of 250 square meters:

– a large hall for unicycle training (unicycle), which is great for presentations, events, video screenings, here is our library;

– second training hall: juggling and acrobatics, from it we will “broadcast” our online trainings CIRCUS AT HOME;

– third hall – photography studio (Studio Fo);

– office;

– rest room;

Wonderful views of Sofia from the windows of every room, Vitosha from end to end, and to the north – the peaks of Stara Planina!

The groups are designed to be small – up to 10 people. In this respect, we also cover the requirements of the current restrictive measures due to the pandemic. All other measures, of course, are also observed.

Mini Art Center is a fully equipped circus space, including a full range of circus equipment and experienced trainers. And the furniture from JYSK.bg helps every visitor and trainee to feel at home here.

If some of you are not familiar with what this miracle Social Circus is, here is a little on this topic.

The Social Circus project was launched in 2018 in partnership with the Danish social circus (Cirkus Tværs), a leader in methodology and development in Denmark. The social circus in the first place supports and provides an opportunity to find talented children, to bring them out of unfavourable social environment, to inspire real hope, but also the realization of these talented children and all those involved. An example of this is the personal story of one head coach in our team – Galina Ryom-Røjbek.

Mini Art Center is practically the place where children and young people will have the opportunity to practice circus disciplines such as juggling, acrobatics, unicycle and more. Thus, we want to continue to use the methodology of the social circus to help orphans, socially disadvantaged children and vulnerable young people to believe in themselves, prepare and move towards a more sustainable future.

The center is open to anyone – big or small, to develop and practise various circus disciplines or just to maintain tone. We expect new students to start training in juggling, acrobatics, unicycle, handstand, rolla-bolla, diabolo, trapeze, slackline and other circus disciplines. Trainings are organized in daily, monthly and three-month courses. The program will be launched on Mini Art Fest facebook site Monday 26th of April 2021.
