A figure: that of a man trying to lift himself up,
reminding us of the great comics, for whom, as in circus, intense risk is a requirement.
Les Hommes Penches live their desires, whatever upsets or entertains them.
They are like a music box for the troubles and slogans of the era.
Space of bodies. Bodies that are present or represented in images, both strong and delicate, tense, passionate, slippery, bouncing…
Their artistic principle is that in order to be present in the world, we must continue to imagine and dream.
Through instability, the young circus artist gives an autonomy to his pole,
which is rarely seen in contemporary circus. Nevertheless he has realized his project with
all the rigor and madness that had dream requires “how to hang a pole on an invisible line”.
Nicolas Fraiseau is working with foolishness and with understanding beauty in a zone somewhere
between comedy a tragedy.
The performance “INSTABLE” is making a world tour this unprecedented year in their native France,
Western Europe, Canada, the Balkans and very soon they are traveling to Sofia, Bulgaria to be on the stage of Mini Art Fest 10.
